Coated PP woven bag also called laminated pp woven bag is similar to pp woven bag with liner but the liner is laminated to the woven PP fabric by coating machine. The coated layer is made by a mix of HDPE or LDPE. The coated layer can be on outer or inner of the woven pp bag.
What is coating machine? Coating machine is also called lamination machine, it can mix the plastic resin of HDPE and LDPE and extrude a layer on the surface of the pp woven fabric. The thickness of the layer can be customized.
The coating layer can bright flat and anti-slip treatment. With the anti-slip coating, the bags can be ant-slip aft palletizing, and do not need anti slip ink printing anymore.
The coated pp woven bag will have small edges on the both sides of the wove pp bags, that is the coating layers from back and front. If you do not like the edges, we can also change the construction of the coated pp woven bags from tubular into back seam, it means when we weave the fabric in tubular, it will be cut into flat fabric then get one side lamination, and stick up the flat fabric into tubular, the further production steps are same to other pp woven bags.
The coated layer will sperate air and water from the content especially for the moisture sensitive products. Normally the GSM weight for the layer is 10-25gsm.
The coated layer will keep the pp woven yarns tight and do not get loose aft cutting. Compared to plain pp woven bags need to hemmed top cutting edge, the coated pp woven bag does not need this step.
